"Be it hereby enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Colesville that it shall hereafter be lawful for any authorized organization to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of Colesville subject to the provisions of the law of the State of New York pertaining thereto. This ordinance shall not become operative unless and until it is approved by the majority of electors voting on a proposition submitted at a special election held, for that purpose. This ordinance shall take effect immediately subject to requirements of publication and posting."
Pursuant to the provisions of General Municipal Law section 485, games of Bingo may be conducted hereafter on the first day of the week commonly known and designated as Sunday. (amended January 12, 1981. Local Law 1-1981)
