A local law to Provide for the Retention of the Three Elective Offices of Assessor in the Town of Colesville
Section 1.
Pursuant to the provisions of section fifteen hundred and fifty-six of the Real Property Tax Law, the three officers of assessor of the Town of Colesville shall continue and shall continue to be elective as provided by the law in effect immediately prior to the effective date of said section fifteen hundred and fifty-six.
Section 2.
This local law shall be submitted for the approval of the electors of the Town of Colesville at a special election to be held in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law not later than July 1st, nineteen hundred seventy-one.
Section 3.
This local law shall become effective on the twentieth day after approval thereof by the electors of the Town of Colesville at the special election specified in section two hereof and after filing and publication as required by the Municipal Home Rule Law.
