Appearance Ticket Local Law
Local law No.2 of the year 1979
A local law authorizing the Issuance of Appearance Tickets by Public Servants of the Town of Colesville
Section 1.
The purpose of this local law is to authorize public servants of the Town of Colesville to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with violations of state statutes, local law, ordinances or rules and regulations of the Town of Colesville which the public servants are authorized or required to enforce.
Section 2.
The following public servants of the Town of Colesville are hereby authorized to issue and serve an appearance ticket with respect to violations of a state statute, a local law, ordinance, rule or regulation of the Town of Colesville as such public servants are required or authorized to enforce:
•A. Constables - Parking, public health, safety and welfare, licensing of occupations or businesses.
•B. Enforcement Officer - All local laws and ordinances of the Town of Colesville. (Added December 29, 1980. Local Law 4-1980)

Section 3.
An appearance ticket other than for a parking violation shall be served personally.
Section 4.
This local law shall take effect immediately upon its filing in the Office of the Secretary of State.
