LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF THE YEAR 2016
A LOCAL LAW REPEALLING THE PEDDLER LAW
OF THE
TOWN OF COLESVILLE CODE
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Colesville that
the Town of Colesville Local Law known as the Peddler Law is repealed as follows:
Section 1. Purpose.
The purpose of this article is to recite that the Town of Colesville Town Board determined
that it was in the best interests of the residents and the inhabitants of said Town of Colesville
to eliminate or repeal the Peddler Law which was originally enacted and adopted on May 3,1962.
Section 2. Statutory authority and action.
The Town of Colesville Local Law
entitled Peddler Law is hereby repealed, rescinded and declared void.
Section 3. Effective Date.
The provisions of this local law shall take effect immediately upon its filing with the Secretary of State.
